Toyota Camry is a series of mid-size car manufactured by Toyota since 1982, and sold the majority of the automotive market worldwide. Between 1980 and 1982, "Camry" name board was delegated to the four-door sedan, known as the Toyota Celica Camry.

The name "Camry" is a phonetic transcription of English-Japanese kanmuri word, which means "crown". It follows the naming tradition of using the name of the crown to Toyota's primary model begins with the Toyota Crown in 1955, continuing with the Toyota Corona and Corolla; Latin words for "crown" and "small crown", respectively.

In the United States, the Camry has been routinely selling car for the last decade. Camry also sells very well in Australia, Canada, and a number of Asian markets. Toyota has marked its presence in almost all the vehicle class and made a new benchmark by refurbishing its models according to the buyers needs. The 2012 Camry is expected to be refreshed using similar dimensions. But the new Camry seems to be more interesting with the longer wheelbase and wider architecture.
