The Volkswagen Jetta is the least expensive German sedan / wagon in the U.S. market, now in its sixth generation. The Jetta SportWagen helps bridge the gap between the Golf and Tiguan in the Volkswagen lineup.

The Jetta sedan and SportWagen offers four different engines, a 115-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder gas (sedan), a gas of 2.5 liter five-cylinder and generating 170 horsepower, a 140-hp 2.0L TDI clean diesel four-cylinder engine for those seeking maximum fuel economy, and a 200-hp 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinders in the GLI. Buyers who go to any gas engine can choose from a five-speed manual transmission or six-speed Tiptronic automatic, while the TDI and GLI buyers choose from a six-speed manual transmission or an automatic six-speed DSG with Tiptronic. All Jetta are standard safety features like six airbags, four-wheel antilock brakes, electronic stability program, tire pressure control, brake assist, seat belts with pretensioners, traction control and head restraints on positions.To all seats set aside the GLI, which includes sports bumpers and side skirts, tinted rear lights, red brake calipers and 17-inch alloy wheels.
